About Makers Community

Our mission

Makers Community exists to get hardware enthusiasts out from behind their screens and into the same room. We believe the best way to learn embedded systems, IoT and electronics is by watching someone else debug their board live, then trying it yourself.

We run free, volunteer-organised meetups in cities across India, open to anyone curious about building physical things.

How it started

A handful of engineers who kept running into each other at unrelated tech meetups decided the maker crowd deserved its own gathering. The first meetup was twelve people in a borrowed office. It has grown since, but the format hasn’t changed: short talks, long breaks, and tables full of half-finished projects.
